بین اینهمه اتفاق و خبر تلخ، تنها چیزی که خوشحالم می‌کند، چاپ رمان «هزار و چند شب» نوشته‌ی دکتر مهدی موسوی است.
رمانی که شاید به سختی بتوان آن را در یک سبک و ژانر داستان‌نویسی جا داد. رمان «هزار و چند شب» دکتر موسوی، به شیوه‌ی کتاب «هزار و یک شب» شامل داستان‌هایی در دل داستان اصلی است. و داستان اصلی چیست؟ مردی که از خواب می‌پرد و می‌بیند دوست‌دخترش با تفنگی آماده‌ی شلیک بالای سرش ایستاده و از او می‌پرسد «چه‌جور تونستی؟» و کل ۴۹۰ صفحه‌ی کتاب، همین چندثانیه‌ی بین این سوال و شلیک گلوله‌هاست. زمانی که مرد فکر می‌کند به اینکه کدام اتفاق زندگی‌اش باعث شکل‌گیری این لحظه شده است. باقی ۱۶۰ صفحه‌ی کتاب، شامل پانوشت‌ها و توضیحاتی است که اگر مخاطب پیگیر باشد، می‌تواند با کمک آنها لایه‌های دیگر اثر را نیز کشف کند.
لینک خرید کتاب را برای دوستانی که خارج از ایران هستند، در بیوی اینستاگرامم می‌گذارم. شاید خرید این کتاب (که با حداقل قیمتی که می‌شود برای انتشار انتخاب کرد ارائه شده) سود مالی‌ای برای نویسنده نداشته باشد، اما کتاب نفیس و ارزشمندی است که مطمئنم از داشتن و ورق زدنش پشیمان نخواهید شد.

متاسفم که جمهوری اسلامی آنقدر فشار و سرکوب و سانسور را برای هر قشری از مردم ایجاد کرده است، که شاهکاری مثل این کتاب باید در غربت، دور از خانه و مخاطب‌هایش و اینقدر تنها منتشر شود. شاید حمایت تک‌تک ما از اثر، تنها قوت قلبی باشد برای نویسنده‌ای که سال‌ها و ساعت‌ها از عمرش را گذاشته برای نوشتن و نوشتن.
باعث افتخار من است که در این کتاب، وظیفه‌ی صفحه‌آرایی و طراحی جلد را به‌عهده داشته‌ام.

Among all the bad news from Iran, the only thing that makes me happy is the publication of the novel “One Thousand and Some Nights” written by Mehdi Mousavi.
A novel that may be difficult to fit into a genre of fiction. Mousavi’s novel is a frame story, like the book “One Thousand and One Nights” which contains several stories at the heart of the main story. And what is the main plot? The man wakes up and sees his girlfriend standing over his head with a rifle ready to fire and asks him, “How could you?” The whole 490 pages of the book are just a few seconds between this question and the firing of bullets. The man thinks about all situations that make her girlfriend so angry. There are 160 pages of the endnotes and explanations. So if the audience would be curious, can discover other layers of the story by them.

It may not be financially rewarding for the author to purchase this book (which is offered for publication at the lowest possible price), but it is an exquisite and valuable book that I am sure you will not regret owning and flipping through.

Unfortunately, the Islamic Republic has created so much pressure, repression, and censorship for all people. So a masterpiece like this book should be published in exile, away from home and its audience, and so alone. Perhaps our support for the work is the only hope for a writer who has devoted years and hours of his life to just writing.
